Bleeding Heart

The name of the flower is strange. Bleeding heart. Bleeding heart. Asian bleeding heart to be exact.
The liver-shaped flower is hanging from the stem, and at the bottom of the liver-shaped flower is a blood drop. This is the flower form of bleeding heart. (In Myanmar, I have never seen this flower, but I looked it up in gardening groups, and there is a bleeding heart vine called Bhop Kyi. The flower is not the same)

He likes it cold, but it blooms in summer.

There are two colors, white and red, and its meaning is as imaginative as the name of the flower. “Fierce Love”. In Asia, because of the appearance of this flower, it is defined as one-sided love…a broken heart.

During the Victorian era, these flowers were considered a symbol of love. White is considered by some to be pure, but it is also often given as a symbol of grief when remembering someone who has died.

There is also a belief that bleeding hearts can bridge life and death. Pink or red are more often used in romantic matters. White is rare and represents young women who have died tragically.
In Korean, it means I will follow you.

Bleeding hearts are widely cultivated in North China, Korea and Japan. On the European side, it was introduced by Scottish botanist Robert Fortune in the 1800s.

One thing to note is that bleeding hearts are poisonous to both humans and dogs. Almost a whole tree. If you eat it, you may experience tremors, vomiting, difficulty breathing, and red spots on your skin.

It is not wrong to say that bleeding heart is a flower with many stories. There is a story about him. Once upon a time, there was a young man who fell in love with a very beautiful and rich young woman for two years. That’s why I gave gifts to get love, of course. As the first gift, he gave birth to two white rabbits.

The girl took the gift but did not tell the boy that she loved him. So the stubborn man kept trying. So the next gift was a pair of slippers made of the finest silk.

The young woman took it. But I said that I will not change my mind about you. But the boy, who was in love with the young lady, used the last money he had saved to give her a pair of very beautiful earrings as a present.

As usual. I took it from there. He refused. In the end, the poor man, who had nothing more to give, cut out his heart with a knife and gave it to the young woman as a gift.

Bleeding heart flowers began to bloom at the same place where Leeu and his heart bled to death. It is said that if you take apart the bleeding heart flower, it is like the gifts given by the mother.
